SHARE YOUR MEMORIES FOR THE BERRI CENTENARY

Berri will be celebrating its Centenary in 2011 and to help commemorate 100 years of history, the Berri Barmera Council has commissioned an experienced and well respected author, Mr Rob Linn to write about the history of Berri and surrounds.

Extensive research of both written & photographic records is currently underway but we also need your help.

The Berri Barmera Council seeks people with memories and stories (including photographs, movies, and other memorabilia) from their families of living and growing up in the Berri district. If you would like to share your memories, or if you know someone who has memories to share, please contact the Berri Library & Information Centre, 8595-2666; email: berri.library@tafesa.edu.au or visit the library at Kay Avenue in Berri.

You will be able to find out more about plans and activities for the coming Centenary in 2011 by accessing the Berri Centenary website (NB: this site is currently under development but we hope it will be ready by Christmas 2009).
