Tafe Reserve Video Collection (top)
(This is a closed collection and is only available to TAFE lecturers and students.)

The library has a large collection of teaching videos used primarily by lecturers in teaching sessions, however they can borrowed by TAFE students. All items within this collection appear in and can be searched for on the library catalogue.

Loan Conditions:
Lecturers can borrow videos for a week.
Students can borrow up to 2 videos on overnight loan. Where possible it is preferable that students view the videos in the Library or a TAFE classroom.

TAFE Textbooks (top)

The library has multiple copies of a number of textbooks required in various courses. These are available for a semester loan, however the loan period may be reduced at lecturers request. The library has a shelf copy (not available for Loan) of the more heavily used textbooks available for use in the library at all times. Search the library catalogue to find out if we have the textbooks you require.

Audio visual equipment (top)

A TV/Video and DVD player is available for students to use in the library.
Handheld voice recorders and CD Player are available on overnight loan to TAFE students and Lecturers. Cassettes and batteries for these items must be supplied by the user.
Digital Cameras are available for use on campus. They can be borrowed overnight and weekends with special permission. An insurance/ indemnity form must be signed before borrowing.

Inter-library Loans (top)

The library aims to provide as many resources to support you in your studies as possible, however if you require resources that the library does not hold we will try and obtain them for you from another TAFE Library. This free service is available to all TAFE SA students. For students enrolled at institutes other than Murray it may be easier to obtain items (particularly core texts) directly from the LRC of the institute you are enrolled with.
You can find out what resources are held by TAFE throughout South Australia by searching the TAFE Catalogue.

Video Conferencing (top)

Video conferencing support is offered by the library staff to all staff and students studying or lecturing by video conference. Orientation session outlining how video conferencing runs and how to use the equipment are provided in the first session of each subject or upon request. Support is also available if problems occur during video conferencing sessions. For more information or to book orientation sessions contact Hanah on 8595 2663 or email hanah.hunt@tafesa.edu.au

Open Learning Support (top)

It is not always possible to get to the library if you are studying via open learning. The library staff are willing to post resources out to you or arrange collection and drop off at your nearest TAFE campus for all open learning students enrolled with TAFE SA. Contact the TAFE library staff at the Berri Library and Information Centre anytime to talk about your information needs.
